01 About

I've spent 10 years in IT and the last 5 operating middleware in production: WebLogic, JBoss/WildFly, Apache, Tomcat and IIS, for banks, airlines, rail operators and hospitals in Colombia and Spain, on platforms of 130+ servers.

My cloud journey started at Banco Itaú, where I worked with AWS (EC2, S3, IAM and Elastic Load Balancing) as part of daily operations. Today I'm focused on Cloud Engineering: I hold the OCI Foundations certification and I'm preparing for AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.

I stay calm when production is on fire, and I like explaining what I learn.

02 Experience

  1. Middleware Administrator @ Telefónica Tech

    Nov 2023 – Aug 2026

    Operated middleware for ~30 clients in Spain, including RENFE, ENAIRE, Meliá and Quirón Salud, among others. Migrated WebLogic 12c → 14c, patched ~130 WebLogic/Apache servers, handled P1/P2 incidents in ServiceNow with 24x7 on-call.

  2. Middleware Administrator @ DB System / Indra

    Aug 2021 – Nov 2023

    Banco Itaú: WebLogic, JBoss and Apache in production, plus AWS operations (EC2, S3, IAM, ELB). 24x7 on-call.

  3. Technical Support Analyst @ Indra

    2017 – 2021

    Infrastructure support for SBS Seguros and Banco Itaú.
